When a patch of blue denotes water and other shapes bring to mind land, clouds and sky. This happened yesterday the verdict is out we shall see when I return to work. It was pleasing at the time. Applying the Automatic Drawing approach, a term I was exposed to by Eric Dever in a painting class He conducted at Madoo Conservancy. I soon realized I've utilized the method most of my life. The history is fascinating and a great discovery. All happening on a diptych, 24"x40" .

With gratitude to Painters past and present I move on. Remembering that it's just canvas and paint. With the appropriate amount of pressure, to have fun and challenge myself to make something worthwhile.

This in not the painting I am referring to in the post but a detail of something recent that is the same size, 24"x40".
