Paintings for Flat File Friday

Lately I feel some strides in my studio practice. More continuity in the work, anticipating outcomes and an awareness of possibilities, all positive developments. This may sound basic but when running the show for so long it is easy to miss The Big Picture while focusing on the work at hand. Some in The Art World tell you and I’ve long obsessed on the need to have one vision or scope of work until discovering and accepting that my vision is multi-layered, and in fact quite focused. It’s all point of view and that is how I choose to see it. I can not control how others interpret what I do…sitting here right now I feel this clarity, hopefully it hangs around or at least has a return visit.

Today I commit to the awareness and acceptance that I am not a machine and my process is fluid. The only obstacle is me. I hope you have a wonderful day.
