A new group of 12"x9" works on paper.

The image shown below continues my explorations of pattern as subject. Using a single, abstract flower motif on a 12”x9“ ground color. These small works can hang alone but I often envision large groups of works installed. The ground color and simplicity makes groupings an easy decision. I have chosen the order here, but of course it can be switched up to suit the situation.

This is an easy group of paintings to consider as a commission. If an installation required an all over ‘Neutral’ feeling or if a group of ‘Blues’ were desired or ‘Rose’ notes it could be turned around in a timely manner. This is also a grouping where I can imagine using a persons swatches to guide the commission.

My Framing recommendations: I envision each framed individually floating in a white box, with an inch of white all around. The frame will have a 1/4” face and 1-1/4” profile. Overall: 13-1/4”High x 10-1/4'“ Wide x 1-1/4”Deep framed. Similar to what is shown (image misses the inch of white around the art) the look will be a strong white grid. The grid can be opened up Or more works added to increase the overall scale or to suit the location.

This is a new group of twelve 9”x12” acrylic on paper paintings continuing my explorations with a single flower motif. installed in this grid format, ultimately float framed individually all white.
