This post continues showcasing works from the archive although these two are both sold. When this image was taken they were hanging together in our guest room. Both are oil on canvas and 48”x48”, titled Dunes 1 and 2, 2007. I have made a bunch of paintings and many different sizes of this diagonal composition, these two are a favorite of mine. Both have a gorgeous all over smooth surface and I’ve zero recollection of making them.
